A fantastic meeting of Lodge Sine Nomine 10000 (lodge with no name) on Saturday 30th May 2026, being the 2nd Light Blues Communication hosted at Grand Lodge.
The event was marked by an attendance of over 1400 masons from every Province in the country including ~20 brethren from YNER.
A glorious day and brilliant hosts who opened the lodge and then called off to invite the Pro Grand Master to take control of proceedings and also invited in a grand group of delegates from both the Order of Womenโs Freemasonry (https://www.owf.org.uk/) and The Honourable Fraternity of Ancient Freemasons (https://hfaf.org/) as well as the Grand Master of The Royal Order of Scotland (https://www.royalorderscotland.org/) and other representatives of the Council of Freemasonry (https://councilforfreemasonry.org.uk/)
The brethren were treated to fantastic presentations about different aspects of the journey and improvements forthcoming within UGLEโs strategy of engagement and visibly wearing the badge of Freemasonry and engaging in conversations about the Why? Not just What? Of Freemasonry.
The short meeting ended with a fantastic rendition of The National Anthem which was definitely loud enough to be heard from outside Grand Lodge itself!
Our very own Mark Iveson, ProvGM, was present, along with about 20 others from Yorkshire North and East Ridings and a good gathering from West Riding who enjoyed the after-meeting drinks and sandwiches.
The date for next year will be Saturday May 29th and it is hoped that many more brethren will make the trip to London to see the Grand Temple in all its splendour.
This is a unique opportunity for Entered Apprentices, Fellow Crafts, Master Masons, Officers, Wardens and Masters of our lodges to get together in London on a Saturday and to see the Grand Temple - definitely not to be missed!
