On Sunday, 8 December 2024, Santa Claus made a merry return to Castlegate House in York. Alcuin Lodge, in partnership with the Provincial Grand Lodge of Yorkshire North and East Ridings, hosted a magical Christmas celebration for around 60 children, including 30 specially sponsored guests.

The children took part in festive activities like making reindeer food, decorating their own tree ornaments, and writing letters to Santa before meeting him in person.

One little boy, unable to attend due to illness, still got a special moment with Santa, who proved he was a modern St. Nick by connecting with him via FaceTime.

The sharp-eyed amongst visitors might just have noticed something familiar about Santa and one of his helpers!

The day was brimming with festive joy and seasonal spirit!
