The Province of Yorkshire (North and East Ridings) has once again been invited to join our colleagues from the West Ridings in the annual War of the Roses clay pigeon shooting competition against the Lancashire Masons.

This well-established event offers an excellent day’s shooting on high-quality ground and the opportunity to represent Yorkshire. The competition is decided by the top six scores from each of the Provincial Teams, but participants of all abilities are welcome and guaranteed an enjoyable day of shooting.

• Shoot Format: 50-bird shoot
• Shoot Cost: 50-Clays £18 Entry fee £5 Optional Raffle Tickets £5
• Following the shoot, a post-event meal has been arranged by the Shoot Captain at The Mason Arms Marton Road Gargrave BD23 5NL

The meal options are:

• Cheese and onion pie with chips, or
• Chilli with chips Cost: £10.00 per person

Meal choices must be confirmed by Tuesday 14 April 2026 to allow final numbers to be provided. Payment is required for all meals booked to avoid any shortfall.
