This auspicious occasion presided over by the de la Pole Lodge 1605 Worshipful Master Jimmie (2kilts) Kerr was attended by just under 100 Brethren and guests including the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master of Yorkshire North and East Ridings, Mark Iveson.
The Lodge Festive Board room was filled to near capacity with the tables beautifully decorated by the Masonic Hall Events Manager, Georgina Anderson, which together with the brilliant direction of the Worshipful Master set the highest of standards. The superb waiting on tables by the Hull Sea Cadet Corps TS “Iron Duke” literally put the icing on the cake, complementing the Chef’s, Luke Pyrah’s, ambrosial, culinary delights.

A 150th anniversary certificate was presented to the de la Pole Lodge by the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master with a few words of commendation of our past and encouragement for our future.
The Hull Sea Cadets have been recipients of many donations from the de la Pole Lodge over the years and on this occasion were furnished with a cheque for £2,000 which was kindly increased with a further £1,000 by the Province.
A thoroughly convivial day was enjoyed by all setting the scene for the de la Pole Lodge in to the next 150 years.
