 Kirkleatham Lodge March 2026

On Friday 6th March 2026, at the annual business meeting of Kirkleatham Lodge No. 6363, Patron to Festival 2029, W. Bro. Christopher Thomas, Worshipful Master and Bro. Andy Longstaff, Chartity Steward & Community Engagement Officer, celebrated the closing year of Chris’s time in King Solomon’s Chair, by receiving Mrs Claire Pitt, the Fundraising Manager of Teesside Mind, to our meeting.

After a most thought provoking and highly engaging presentation on the widespread work across our region, Teesside Mind gratefully received a cheque for £500, to mark Chris’s named charity for his year.

Also at the meeting, Bro. Andy Longstaff appraised the Lodge that he is leading the community engagement project of supporting Zoe’s Place Baby and Children’s Hospice in Middlesbrough, to become Masonic Aware. This is supported by W. Bro. Tony Dyer and W. Bro. David Humphries, who are providing practical support to ensure the project is as successful as St Catherine’s Hospice in Scarborough. Andy is due to meet with the relevant people at Zoe’s Place soon to significantly progress the project.
